I have just spent 3 miserable days at Lakeland Caravan Park

The Caravan was very basic - no toaster microwave or freeview provided. The curtains were torn and mouldy  and hanging off. The double duvet had to be changed as it was full of stains We had to wash cups and crockery as they were dirty and still had food on some of them. The gas fire would not light and we had to get maintenance to light it - once lit we had to leave it on for fear of it not lighting again.

Due to heavy rain the grass along side the caravan was a quagmire. No seperate place to have a nice meal only the bar full of football fans and no where to have a nice quiet drink either.

This is my first and last visit to a Haven park. I have stayed in a caravan park  earlier in the year (privately owned)and it was far superior to this experience. the only redeeming feature was that the staff were friendly. Very disappointed!
