we have recently purchased a caravan. and as our first trip, we chose haven at seaview..as a tourer..I was a little dissappointed at the touring pitches..it was as if we were lower ranking guests, as the grounds around the static caravans were nicely kept with paved roads..but the touring side was very stony and bumpy..which to me does not make sense when you have to tow.
The swimming pool at seaview was awful..very small and dirty looking...But I must say we took a day trip over to Weymouth Bay, and found the swimming pool there excellent..my kids really enjoyed the fast flow pool.
I was also dissappointed at the lack of take-away food..it was just pizza pizza pizza...nowhere to buy a burger or hot dog, unless you wanted to pay the high restaurant prices.
The evening entertainment was very good..I cannot fault that..Just the lack of seating if you arrived later.
The staff were very friendly and helpful..went out of there way to ensure you enjoyed your stay.
Overall there were positives and negatives on our experience..we will go to Haven again, but will try a different park. Weymouth bay park is definetely better than Seaview.
